This model represents a Crewe-built machine in late-1970s condition. Featuring a production series body with plated-over front doors, it offers the opportunity to purchase another BR blue workhorse that will allow prototypical double-heading. This model represents a loco with boiler removed and Class 25 style sandboxes. 24091 formed part of the Crewe allocation for the last decade of its life.
